I am a natural light photographer specializing in personalized and Creative Portraits. I am based in  Mount Juliet/Old Hickory, Tennessee.

I shoot both Digital and film. I started with film in 1985 when I got my first Canon AE1 slr camera. I still own it and use it occasionally. I finally went digital in 2007.

 Aside from the two photography classes I attended back then, I am mainly self taught, years of blood, sweat and tears, and money!

I started out shooting Animals/pets, landscapes and scenics.

Later, I ventured out into the music scene and shot some local musicians and bands in the area and was working on building a portfolio. I also worked at a local stock car race track as a track photographer for 2 years. Then started photographing  people, and started being asked to shoot weddings and families...and so on.

Some of my work has been published in some online magazines and local newspapers, and in a couple music cds.

With the occasional exception of a small wedding for a close friend or family member, I do not shoot weddings anymore. However, I do still shoot engagement portraits.

  Its taken me years to find my "style", but I think Im finally there. 

I find myself drawn more and more to the fine art portrait, and the creative artistic side of photography, and love to play with existing light. And I enjoy creating fine art composites from my photos.

  Im not your typical photographer. Im a bit of a free spirit, just an artist and photographer who loves creating beautiful portraits and art! I dont have a fancy website, or fancy brochures and marketing tools. I save that time and money, and pass that savings onto you. 

 I just want to create beautiful portraits! I dont like to be bogged down in business type stuff, and Im not all about the money. Of course I need to make money to pay my bills, but Im not greedy. I believe in making it affordable for you to have beautiful quality portraits done, without breaking your bank.

 There is nothing that excites my heart and soul more than to look through a lens, and capture a special moment in time, a raw emotion, a mysterious expression, a beautiful smile, and capturing a moment you will treasure forever!

  I like to dig deep and capture the soul of a person. I strive to bring out your unique personality in a portrait.

 I have a huge passion for what I do, and I put my heart and Soul into every portrait I create. Your Portrait will be as unique as you are.
